PROF. SADANAND PANDEY

Prof. Sadanand Pandey, an eminent journalist and academic, is currently serving as a Professor at MERI College. He has had a distinguished career in journalism, with a long-standing association with VIR ARJUN, a renowned Hindi daily, where he held the prestigious position of Executive Editor.

Academically, Prof. Pandey holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy (MA) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Allahabad. Additionally, he has an MBA degree, which adds to his diverse professional expertise.

Before fully dedicating himself to journalism, he worked as a Personnel Executive at VOLTAS Limited. Later, he transitioned into diplomatic research by joining the Embassy of the United States in New Delhi as a Political Analyst. To further enhance his knowledge in international relations, he pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Diplomacy from the Centre of Diplomatic Studies at the US Embassy.

Prof. Pandey’s contributions to journalism have been widely recognized, earning him several prestigious awards in the field. His vast experience in media, law, and diplomacy makes him a guiding force for aspiring journalists at MERI College, where he continues to mentor students with his invaluable industry insights.
